Happy Friday, Firefly Families!
This week we learned all about apples! We read Apples for Everyone, Ten Apples Up on Top, Apple Farmer Annie and Bad Apple. We used our handprints or loofahs to paint apple trees, water colored apples & leaves for our seasons tree, colored/cut out apples and made signs for our Firefly apple stand, taste tested different colored apples, matched numeral to quantity with apple trees, responded to the journal entry, "How many apples up on top?", made apple patterning crowns, and tried to balance as many "apples" as we could on our popsicle stick apple trees. Our HWT letter of the week was T.

*LECC Pumpkin Patch Field Trip: SAVE THE DATE! Wednesday, October 29th from 9:30-11:30 AM @ Thies Farm in Maryland Heights. Your child will need a chaperone to take them to the farm and stay for the duration of the event. More details TBA!
