Hello Firefly Families!
This week we learned what it means to be THANKFUL and we talked about some of the things we are thankful for. We made handprint turkeys with a special poem at the top, made turkeys out of playdough, created Thanksgiving pattern crowns, decorated turkey feathers for our class turkey and responded to the journal prompt, "I am thankful for...". We also completed an emergent reader book about Thanksgiving foods and cut out/painted turkeys on the easel. Our HWT letter of the week was D and we read The Thankful Book, Peppa Gives Thanks, Thankful, and Bear Says Thanks and various books on Epic.
