Happy Friday, Firefly Families!
This week we did all things GINGERBREAD! We created and decorated our very own gingerbread house in the reading arch, made gingerbread playdough, responded to the journal prompt, "Where did your gingerbread baby run?", measured holiday items with gumdrops, went on a number hunt around the classroom where we had to match numeral to quantity and write the number on our sheet. We read the books This is Our House, The Gingerbread Girl, Gingerbread Baby, Gingerbread Friends, and a "Five Little Gingerbread" poem. Our Handwriting Without Tears letter of the week was B and our character word for December is CARING.
